If your spouse or parent has passed and you need to transfer property out of the deceased person's name, We’re here to help.
It is very important—especially if the deceased person left a will—that the will is admitted to probate within four years of the person's death. You cannot use the will as a means of transferring property under the terms of the will unless a judge issues an order probating the will.
